Bricks 4 Kidz

Bricks 4 Kidz

I am excited about the opportunity to share with you our Bricks 4 Kidz® hands-on program. Designed and created by teachers, architects and engineering professionals, our hands-on curriculum introduces children age 3-13+ to concepts of engineering, architecture and mechanics using LEGO® and DUPLO® bricks. We provide all materials for students to work in a lab-type setting using the bricks with an integrated curriculum based on math, science, and language arts. Although Bricks 4 Kidz® has been around and growing rapidly throughout the United States and abroad, it is new to the Woodbridge township, Carteret, Colonia and Perth Amboy location.
We offer After School Programs, In School Workshops and Camps. What Bricks 4 Kidz does is it takes building with LEGO bricks to introduce and expand STEM concepts to children from ages Preschool to up to 5th grade. Our program is designed to build a path so we start with the little ones and do duplos and teach them how to build with two hands, follow directions and work in sequence. Then we migrate them as their abilities mature and grow a little to smaller tech bricks where we learn and build famous structures around the world. Our typical class consist of three components, a brief lesson discussion of some STEM aspect of the model that they are going to build. Our second component would be structure of the model build. Our third component would be the creative component where they use their critical thinking skills and problem solving skills.
